Group fitness culture isn’t just about the style and appearance of the studio. It’s about the core beliefs of the brand and the way in which trainers and staff embody and demonstrate these beliefs and values. It’s about the branded gear employees wear, the music played during sessions and the motivation amongst members. Any successful fitness studio with a large, dedicated member base has a distinctive culture, but F45 is truly one of the only fitness franchises with a culture that puts members first
The only fitness franchise that puts you first
In regards to the franchisee experience, we ensure that our franchisees emulate positivity, collaboration, and teamwork by inviting them to HQ for an intensive week-long franchisee induction before their studios open. While they learn the logistics and processes of our company, more importantly, they get to experience the F45 culture and work out alongside their fellow franchisees each day. Our franchisees leave induction excited and eager to spread the F45 culture to their trainers and studio members.
As for our members, they are treated like a part of the F45 family from the moment they walk into an F45 studio to begin their free trial. They are approached and welcomed by the trainers, who describe the layout of the studio and layout of the day’s session. F45 members go out of their way to introduce themselves to newbies, making sure to high-five and cheer them on during the session. The success of a group fitness studio depends on the loyalty of its members, which is why it is so important for studios to put clients’ needs before all else.
Trainers that care about your motive
Trainers can make or break a group fitness studio--if members aren’t motivated and inspired by their trainers, they likely will not want to return. At F45, the trainers truly care about their members and are determined to help them reach their goals--fitness-related and beyond. Trainers at any big box gym aim to strengthen their members physically, but F45 trainers also focus on strengthening members mentally through positive affirmations and encouragement.
First-name basis and high-fives
F45 members are on a first-name basis with their trainers and fellow members, which makes for a fun and communal atmosphere in which to work out. Members often follow a certain class routine, whether it be 6 A.M. pre-work or 5 P.M. post-work, which means they see the same familiar faces every day. As a result, F45 becomes a second family for many members--a group of like-minded friends that keep each other accountable, motivated, and committed. After sweating it out together and getting an endorphin high sure to last the whole day, post-class high-fives are obligatory.
Parties, community, network
The premise of F45 lies in building a community environment--the studios are spaces where individuals come from all backgrounds to bond over their passion for health and fitness. Finding a space like this is beneficial for members who may be newcomers to big cities or hesitant about starting a new workout routine, and the results will last a lifetime. Many F45 studios host team bonding events (like hikes and mixers) for members to get to know each other better, which takes community and teamwork to the next level. Between its unbreakable community and unbeatable culture, F45 is truly crushing it.
