Resilience: (noun) defined as ‘the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.’ 

Resilience is perhaps one of the most important characteristics for a franchisee to have. Having the ability to recover from roadblocks that present themselves could be the difference between surviving as a franchise owner and simply crumbling under the pressure. When you are resilient, you persevere through even the most difficult of situations, keeping your eye on the prize regardless of what happens along the way.

While we agree, the first year of franchise ownership may be one of the most challenging, we also think it’s important to have resilience throughout your franchising career for a number of reasons.
